आपण स्वतंत्र विचारांचे आहोत असा समज बऱ्याच लहानपणापासून मी पाळलेला होता. पण
जसं जसं मी माणसांना ऐकायला लागले, पुस्तकं वाचायला लागले, चिंतन करायला लागले तसं माझ्या लक्षात यायला लागलेलं आहे की आपली मतं स्वयंभू नाहीत.
कळत-नकळत आपण कुणाच्या ना कुणाच्या प्रभावाखाली निश्चित आहोत.
हा प्रत्येक प्रभाव तावून-सुलाखून घ्यायचा, त्याची मर्यादा ओळखायची, काही
स्वीकारायचं-काही बेडरपणे त्यागायचं- एवढं मी ठरवलं आहे.
या प्रवासातून असं काही सत्य मला शोधायचं आहे जे कुठल्याही
प्रभावाखाली आणि कुठल्याही प्रभावाशिवाय देखील अचल राहील.
